Clare Lillard
Clare Lillard currently serves as Extension Agent, Family and Consumer Sciences, serving Orange, Madison, and Culpeper counties. She began her career with Virginia Cooperative Extension in 1984, and served as a 4-H Youth Development Agent for 10 years, educating youth and families in urban Arlington and Henrico counties as well as Orange and Madison counties.
After raising her two children, Clare taught math and science for 15 years to middle and elementary students in the Madison County Public School system.
Clare returned to VCE in 2014, and has enjoyed educating both adult and youth audiences in her current position. Her programming efforts include: food safety, human nutrition and wellness, diabetes education, and food service job skills training.
